Contents Insurance
Contents insurance applies to anyone who owns something valuable – this ranges from your television set to your favourite painting or a cellphone.
Your refrigerator, couch and clothing are important items to have covered under content insurance. Consider how expensive it would be to replace any of these items if you were to fall victim to crime, fire or a natural disaster.
You do not have to run the risk of being without financial support if things go wrong regarding your property. Keep in mind that you need to protect your assets, do not only insure a portion of your belongings but instead make sure you are 100% covered at replacement value. Proof of ownership is always necessary for your valuable items.
Vehicle insurance
In South Africa it should be compulsory to have your vehicle insured. Industry experts however believe that less than 30 percent of the vehicles on South African roads are insured. Vehicle insurance should not be a luxury.
Insurance is important because of the fact that accidents and unfortunate incidents tend to happen. It’s a reality. You don’t even have to be particularly adventurous or live a thrilling lifestyle… No matter how safe you think your life is, you take risks every day. And because there’s simply no telling when an accident will happen, or to who, or how many people might be involved… It’s better to be prepared and make sure that you have the right cover.
Third party costs can sometimes mount up to more than your own damage or loss. The expense of having to pay 1 or even 2 other people for these damages is actually quite frightening. Third party liability insurance is crucial.

These numbers should provide more than enough motivation to change the mindset of vehicle owners from “an unfortunate expense” to “a matter of urgency and a necessity before going on the road”!
